4pm: Theo Nestor teaches “Digging into Your ‘Real Writing'” in the Yoga Studio, followed by Pizza/Open Mic Night in the Doe Bay Cafe.
Friday, October 2nd
9:30am: Theo Nestor teaches “Digging into Your ‘Real Writing'” in the Yoga Studio.
11:30: Lunch on your own or come by the Retreat House for a sandwich between Noon and 1pm. (Most cabins have kitchens. The town of Eastsound has a variety of great restaurants about 15 minutes away. Recommend: Rose’s Bakery and Cafe Olga).
Afternoon: Writing time on your own****
6:30 Group dinner in the Doe Bay Cafe (included and amazing).
Saturday, October 3rd:
8am-2pm: Doe Bay Cafe open and serving brunch menu.
9am: Optional Yoga class in Yoga Studio
11:00am: Theo Nestor teaches “Digging into Your ‘Real Writing'” in the Yoga Studio. Sign up for dinner groups to meet up in town or at Doe Bay Cafe.
12:30am to 1:30pm: Lunch break. Doe Bay Café will be open. (Optional: Sign up for individual consultation with Nicole Hardy, Natalie Singer-Velush, or Theo Nestor for additional fee. See add-on coaching session on main registration page).
1:30pm: Nicole Hardy’s class “Writing to Epiphany” in the Yoga Studio
3:30pm: Writing Time*** (Optional: Sign up for individual consultation with Nicole Hardy, Natalie Singer-Velush, or Theo Nestor for additional fee. See add-on coaching session on main registration page).
6:30pm: Dinner groups meet up to go to town or to Doe Bay Cafe.
Sunday, October 4th:
8am: Doe Bay Café will be open for brunch.
Check out of cabins before 10am class.
10:00 am: Natalie Singer-Velush teaches “How To Pitch Editors and Submit for Publication” in Yoga Studio.
11:30: Group Farewell with Theo in Yoga Studio
Please note: Schedule subject to change.
**Suggested activities for Writing Times: Write in your cabin, write in the Yoga Studio (open for your use during the retreat except for during the two scheduled yoga classes), write in the Otter Library, write outside, go kayaking, go for a walk, visit the Doe Bay garden, visit Moran State Park , visit Eastsound, nap, visit the hot tub/sauna, have a massage.
