Readers in the Seattle area might want to take advantage of a new offer from UW’s Professional and Continuing Education Program this spring to preview many of their certificate program classes, such as my Memoir Writing certificate course. The preview classes are actual two-hour classes with real instruction, not just descriptions of the course. In my preview class on March 19th, I will be giving an overview of memoir as a genre and then leading students through a number of exercises designed to help them locate their memoir material. And, it’ll be fun.
Because the classes are free, I would not delay in registering if you’re interested. Here’s the link for registering for my class on Monday, March 19th.
Here’s the link for the full list of the preview courses.
Here’s an interview with me about the Memoir Writing Certificate Program. Goodness, I look more than a little worried in this opening frame : ).
Very nice Theo!
Is the capacity for the preview really 300? I’ve been encouraging a couple of my friends to go.
Where did you get that number? It sounds v. high. 30 seems like it would be about right, but I haven’t asked about the limit.
